Join Curator of Public Art Aaron Ott on Thursday, January 23, 2025, for an in-depth look at the ten years of projects driven by the AKG’s Public Art Initiative, including personal stories from the Public Art team and a special look at the artists that comprise the upcoming exhibition Hi-Vis, opening Friday, February 21, 2025, on Floor 3 of the new Jeffrey E. Gundlach Building.
Located adjacent to the Wilson Town Square in the Knox Building, Creative Commons is a free, active space for ages five and up designed to help you create, share, and connect through fun and playful experiences with art! Created in partnership with the LEGO Foundation, Creative Commons’ innovative blend of art, artmaking, and technology links your creativity to the collection through joyful, artwork-centered play. Admission to the Knox Building is always FREE.
Artist Saira Siddiqui has been leading a collaboration for the last several months between the refugee artisans of Stitch Buffalo and the public with the support of the Buffalo AKG. Now is the time to vote for your favorite mural design!
