Join the AKG for an afternoon of music, art, and conversation celebrating the opening of Natvar Bhavsar: Free Yourself. Enjoy chai and sweet treats before an intimate musical viewing of the exhibition in the M&T Gallery from 2 to 3 pm by Naryan Padmanabha, an accomplished sitar player with more than 30 years of experience. Through the rich, meditative sounds of the sitar, Padmanabha will set the tone for the afternoon.

Following the performance, artist Natvar Bhavsar (American, born India,1961) will join us in the Lipsey Auditorium for a conversation reflecting on his career, creative process, and the ideas explored throughout the tandem exhibitions. The celebration will conclude with a poster signing with the artist in the Wilson Town Square.
