Join the AKG for a festive celebration of the Lunar New Year hosted by the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association (APAPA)! Embrace the spirit of renewal and prosperity as we welcome the Year of the Snake.


Event Highlights: 
 

Traditional Performances: Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage with captivating traditional performances, including dragon dances, Japanese Drumming, Chinese Traditional Dances, Instruments, and more! 

Culinary Delights: Indulge in a delectable array of Asian cuisine featuring traditional Lunar New Year dishes that symbolize luck, prosperity, and good fortune. 

Interactive Workshops: Engage in hands-on activities and workshops, such as calligraphy, lantern-making, and traditional crafts for kids and adults. 

Community Spirit: Connect with the community, make new friends, and join the festivities as we usher in the Lunar New Year.

Accessibility

The Stanford and Judith Lipsey Auditorium is located on the second floor of the Knox Building and can be accessed by the elevator across from the Family Room. There is accessible seating along both sides of the Auditorium, as well as in the two back corners. Assistive Listening Devices and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing are available upon request. To schedule an ASL interpreter for an event, please submit a request at least two weeks in advance. The closest restrooms are on the first floor of the Knox Building in the same hallway as the Moog Inc. Visitor Services Desk.
