Join us for Sunday Insights, where community members relate their work and experience to the art on view. On February 16, Partnership for the Public Good Civic Educator Orlando Dickson will discuss the exhibition Open House: Domestic Thresholds by Heather Hart, Edra Soto, and Rodney Taylor

About the Speaker

Image removed.Orlando Dickson, J.D., is a Chicago native and a permanent resident of Buffalo. He is a graduate of the University at Buffalo Law School, a nine-year Army veteran, and a 2017 Open Buffalo Emerging Leader. Dickson is the Supportive Housing Chair of Plymouth Crossroads, an organization that supplies a safe and stable living environment to empower abused runaway and homeless youth. He is a certified community health worker and also serves as a group leader for the Breaking Barriers program sponsored by Barack Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative.

This event is presented on the occasion of Open House: Domestic Thresholds by Heather Hart, Edra Soto, and Rodney Taylor, which features projects that explore how people build connections to others both inside and outside the walls of those structures we call home.
