My Mark Matters™ (MMM) is an arts-integrated humanitarian project that lays the foundation to engage diverse audiences of all learning abilities through mark making, observation, and personal story. Participants in this workshop led by Hervé Tullet: Shape and Color resident artist Fotini Galanes will be challenged to draw an art object from observation to produce a one-minute drawing, a five-minute drawing, and a ten-minute drawing, slowly adding more and more detail with each picture drawn. This workshop incorporates participatory experiences in effective ways to stimulate communication, discovery, and authentic connection. The individual marks and remarks are documented and added to an anthology. Currently, MMM has collected marks from individuals representing 54 of 195 countries around the world.
Registration
Space is limited to 30 participants in order to maintain social distancing. This workshop is free but pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Please register online.
